Sound Control has developed cost effective gas turbine exhaust systems. The systems provides optimum acoustic performance with negligible impact on the power output, and in some instances an increase in overall performance. Sonata Gas Turbine Exhaust Silencers comprise of the Stack and Discharge Exhaust Silencer. These are often coupled with Sonata Inlet Silencers and Inertia Pre-filter.
Sonata Exhaust and By-pass Silencers are designed for high working temperatures and to withstand expansion and dynamic loads. Staggered splitter designs are commonly used in the exhausts requiring high insertion loss. Intake Dissipative and Absorptive Silencers are used to reduce the high frequency noise common on Inlets of Gas Turbines. High performance Acoustic Enclosures traditionally form part of the overall noise reduction program installed on Gas Turbines.
