Steam Vent Silencers

Sound Control manufacture a full range of SONATA Steam Vent Silencers. Steam vent silencers are used on relief valves on boilers or for discharge through a control valve. Steam vent silencers incorporate a diffuser in the base of the steam vent silencer for pressure control and can have multistage silencer elements to tailor the acoustic performance.

Steam vent silencers are often used at coal fired power stations, package boilers, combined cycle gas turbines, and any co-generation projects. Noise reductions from 10 dBA to 50 dBA can be achieved with these steam vent silencers depending on project requirements.

Industrial Silencers

Sound Control manufactures three ranges of SONATA industrial silencers; absorptive silencers, reactive silencers and combined absorptive reactive silencers. Industrial silencers can be used for Gas turbines, Gas and diesel engines, industrial fans, Induced Draft Fans (ID), Forced Draft (FD) and Industrial stacks. Noise reductions from 10 dBA to 50 dBA can be achieved with these industrial silencers depending on project requirements.
